An alert viewer noted that there is a word in Thai for “snow” â€" but I wrote this song as a tribute to a guy I worked with 30 years ago who retired and said he was going to drive south from our home in snowy Maine, USA until he got to a sunny place where there was no word for snow in the local language, and then park his camper van, drink beer and watch the waves come in!
